I have been hesitant to create any new posts because I didn’t want any MORE to attract spammers for comment!  I have just installed a new spam filter, though, so we will see how this works.  Hopefully I will now be able to approve the legitimate comments because they won’t be buried in mountains of spam.  (By the way, I do not delete comments just because I disagree with them, etc.  The comments I have been wading through are advertisements for pharmaceuticals, casinos, mattresses, and a whole list of other things.)  If you have made a comment which never showed up, please post it again, it probably was mistakenly deleted along with the junk.  If you come across a post which has the comment option turned OFF, please let me know.

Hopefully we can now return to our regularly scheduled (well, sort of ) blogging.
