Organizer/Planner Systems
There may be more planner types out there but these are all that I'm aware of.
If you know of a planner that is very different than anything listed here
please let me know so I can add it. I have been honest here about what I disliked
about these systems because you usually don't hear much about them from
that angle; you can already find lots of testimonials from people who use them
and like them. Those systems that I've used, you can assume that I liked in every
aspect other than what I specifically mentioned. My goal here is for you to be
able to make an informed decision.
SIDETRACKED HOME EXECUTIVES
Also known as "The Slob Sisters," these naturally disorganized sisters
got fed up with being disorganized and created a plan. They use 3x5 index
cards in a file box. The box started out with only household and other
daily tasks but they now use them for journaling, gift ideas, and a whole

the system, which are available at most libraries. Personally, I liked the
principles behind the system but disliked a couple things about the method.
I didn't like not being able to see at a glance everything that I needed to
do (I'm not good at seeing the big picture without having it laid out for me.)
and I didn't like that the system really wasn't portable.
SHE's in Touch - This is their official
website. Their books are available there, as well as further information
about the system, printable forms, etc. I think there's a bulletin board,
too. There are several unofficial sites on the web which you should
be able to find by doing a search for "sidetracked hom |
