Computer-Virus Information, from McAfeeDoctrine/Theology/Church-Bible translation information: This is one of the best introductions to Bible translations that I've ever seen. It addresses all of the key issues in choosing a translation, explains them in understandable terms, and provides examples. Although the author does, in the end, tell you what he chose to go with, the site does not attempt to "sell" any particular translation. I think this is a must-read for every Christian.-Reformed.org: Historical church documents and more. -The Fundamentals: These books are the "fundamentals" of the Christian faith. A truly "Fundamentalist" Christian holds to all of the beliefs outlined in these texts. -National Center for Family-Integrated Churches: If you are seeking a family-integrated church, try searching here. Internet Tools-Babelfish Translator-The Internet Archive (Wayback Machine): This is helpful when you are searching for a site which is no longer available. Look the site up here, to see if it has been archived. -TinyURL: This site allows you to convert a lengthy web address to a very short one (especially helpful when you are attempting to email a link that spans several lines.) -Universal Currency Converter Politics-Constitution Party: If you have not heard of the Constitution Party, I urge you check it out.-Downsize DC: This non-partisan organization has campaigns that nearly every American would support. In particular, check out the "Read the Bills" legislation they are working to get passed. (Please note: I am not necessarily endorsing every one of the organization's campaigns.) PRACTICAL Charitable Giving Opportunities that Build Families-Shaohannah's Hope: Provides adoption grants to Christian families.-The Homeschool Foundation Widow's Fund: Provides financial assistance to homeschooling families who have lost their husbands/daddies, so they can continue their homeschooling/discipleship lifestyle. -Cotton Babies diaper grants: Provides cloth diapers to missionaries. |
